4/10/2026 - Department of Health and Human Services announced Advisory Council created to develop a National Plan to End Parkinson’s was added to the April 2026 subsection of the “What’s New…” section.

4/9/2026 - Information about an invitation to a Parkinson’s Social and Game afternoon by Kennebunk’s Parkinson’s Support Group on Friday, May 1, 2026, was added to the “Meetings & Events” section. A Press Release regarding a homecare provider’s launch of a free Parkinson’s and Dementia Support Group “Angels Embrace” to reduce caregiver isolation was added to the April 2026 subsection of the “What’s New…” section.

4/8/2026 - An image of "Team - Exercise is Medicine” at the 2025 Parkinson’s Foundation Moving Day event and a video of Parkinson’s Awareness Month Proclamation by Mayor Liam P. LaFountain, City of Biddeford, Maine on April 7, 2026 were added to the “Gallery” section.

4/2/2026 - “Choosing when to share a Parkinson’s diagnosis isn’t one-size-fits-all” from Parkinson’s News Today was added to the “Newly Diagnosed” section.

4/1/2026 - Three YouTube Videos were added. Two to the “Newly Diagnosed” section. “Find Real Answers” from the Parkinson’s Foundation and “Faces of Parkinson’s” from The Michael J. Fox Foundation. “Spark The Night (April 11th) was added to the “Home page”. ALSO, a new section, “Group Members’ Potpourri” has been added and is a page dedicated to providing our group members with an opportunity to share, thoughts, information, etc. with the whole group and those viewing our site. The first contribution was from Nat Whitney.

3/30/2026 - A link to Ping Pong Parkinson’s and two YouTube Videos “Can Ping Pong Help Parkinson’s by Penn Medicine and “Mainers find Parkinson’s relief through ping pong” were added to the “1st Prescription = Exercise” section.

3/29/2026 - New UCLA study finds common pesticide may more than double Parkinson’s disease risk was added to January 2026 under the “What’s New in PD” section.

3/29/2026 - The North San Diego County California Parkinson’s Support Group Newsletters for March and April were added to the “What’s New In PD” section under their respective months.

3/27/2026 - LewinGroup’s Final Report, The Economic Burden of Parkinson’s (for the Michael J. Fox Foundation) was released today and was added to March 2026 under the “What’s New in PD” section.

3/26/2026 - The Davis Phinney Foundation’s Monthly Care Partner Virtual Meetups’ schedule was added to the “Meetings and Events” section.

3/25/2026 - A new category of ‘Studies and Trials’ was added to the “Resources by Topic” section.
