4/18/2026 - An article from Medical News Today: “Water sources may affect Parkinson’s disease risk: What to know” was added to the “What’s New In PD” section.

4/17/2026 - From Surviving to Thriving (Summit 2026 is April 25, 2026) poster was added to the main page. Our group member, Andy Holmes, has recommended this program. Andy says, “Dr. Laleh is  the Doctor who got me started on my ‘Eat to Defeat Parkinson’s’ journey and this Summit is filled with some very interesting providers that many people will find interesting and may help with some things they could be struggling with. 4/17/2026 -Two items were added to What’s New In PD segment: 1) a PDF regarding Microengineering of the capillary interface of midbrain dopaminergic neurons to study Parkinson’s disease vascular alterations and 2) a link to an article about the FDA’s Clearance of Cala klQ Plus wearable device to adjust hand tremors in Parkinson’s patients.

4/11/2026 - Information about the 7th World Parkinson’s Congress in Phoenix, Arizona was added to the “Meetings & Events” section.

4/10/2026 - Department of Health and Human Services announced Advisory Council created to develop a National Plan to End Parkinson’s was added to the April 2026 subsection of the “What’s New…” section.

4/9/2026 - Information about an invitation to a Parkinson’s Social and Game afternoon by Kennebunk’s Parkinson’s Support Group on Friday, May 1, 2026, was added to the “Meetings & Events” section. A Press Release regarding a homecare provider’s launch of a free Parkinson’s and Dementia Support Group “Angels Embrace” to reduce caregiver isolation was added to the April 2026 subsection of the “What’s New…” section.
